IndieCircle (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the IndieCircle mobile app and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using IndieCircle, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information you provide when you sign up: email address, display name, profile data, and optional profile picture. When you add an app, we store the app name, description, App Store link, missions, reward settings, and screenshots. When you submit feedback, we store your feedback text, optional screenshots, and optional recordings. When you use the app, we collect device identifiers for push notifications, usage data (e.g. screens viewed, actions taken), and technical data (e.g. app version, OS). We use Firebase for authentication and storage; their privacy practices apply to that data.

We use your data to operate the service: credits, escrow, reputation, badges, and discovery of apps. We show your public profile (name, reputation, badges) to other users where relevant. Feedback you submit is visible to the app owner. We send you notifications (e.g. when feedback is approved or a test is available). We use data to improve the product, fix bugs, and develop new features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Our marketing website may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage) for essential functionality, analytics, and preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The IndieCircle mobile app may use local storage for session and preferences; we do not use third-party advertising cookies in the app.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, secure authentication, restricted access, encryption where appropriate) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

IndieCircle is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and, where appropriate, by in-app notice or email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
